About BOSP and its Directors
The Bing Overseas Studies Program (BOSP) https://undergrad.stanford.edu/programs/bosp is Stanford’s overseas studies program. Over half of Stanford students choose to study abroad during their undergraduate careers, carrying on a tradition that began in 1958.
Professor Ramon Saldivar is the Burke Family Director of BOSP, Hoagland Professor of Humanities & Sciences, Bass University Fellow in Undergraduate Education, Professor of English & Comparative Literature and Professor, by courtesy, of Iberian & Latin American Cultures.
Ms. Irene Kennedy is an Associate Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education and for the last 16 years also served as Executive Director of BOSP.
