Stanford Club of Hong Kong is doing an online-only Career Mentoring Day, and we invite alums to join us in volunteering!
Although Beyond the Farm is cancelled globally this year due to COVID-19, we are running a club-organized, online event to sustain the volunteering spirit of Beyond the Farm locally. Through online videoconferencing, alumni will be able to volunteer their time, share their career journeys and provide career mentorship to local secondary school students.
We are collaborating with CoCoon Foundation (https://foundation.hkcocoon.org/) to invite students as mentees. CoCoon Foundation has brought entrepreneurship education programs to 40+ local secondary schools across different neighborhoods, so some of the students we will mentor are from schools that may lack access to these types of career mentorship opportunities.
